Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: Water deflectors seal the inner panel. Water deflectors prevent water from entering into the body. A strip of adhesive between the deflector and the door secures the deflector.




1. Remove the trim panel.
2. Using a flat-blade tool, break the bond between the sealer and the door.
3. Pull the waterproof sealing tape from the deflector.
4. Remove the water deflector.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Using waterproof tape or 3M(R) 777 (or equivalent), install the water deflector to the door.
2. Install the trim panel to the door.
