Master Cylinder Replacement
Removal Procedure





1. Locate the clutch master cylinder on the dash panel in the engine compartment.





2. Quick connect the hydraulic line to the master cylinder.
3. Push the clutch pedal down all the way and squeeze in the tabs to release the pushrod bushing from the clutch pedal pocket.





4. Turn the master cylinder 45 degrees counterclockwise to unlock the master cylinder.
5. Disconnect the wiring harness from the clutch master cylinder start switch.
6. Remove the clutch master cylinder from the dash panel.
7. Remove the clutch master cylinder from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





1. Position the clutch master cylinder to the vehicle.
2. Install the master cylinder to dash panel.
3. Turn the master cylinder 45 degrees counter clockwise to lock the master cylinder.
4. Connect the wire harness to the clutch master cylinder.
5. Push the clutch pedal all the way down and connect the clutch pedal pocket to the pushrod bushing tabs and make sure the pushrod bushing snaps into place to ensure proper clutch pedal operation.





6. Quick connect the hydraulic line to the master cylinder.
7. If needed, pump the clutch pedal 25 times for proper operation of the clutch system.
