Fan Shroud Replacement - LowerRemoval Procedure
1. Remove the cooling fan.
2. If equipped with the 6.0L engine perform the following:
2.1. Open the oil cooler hose clip located on the lower fan shroud.
2.2. Remove the oil cooler hoses from the clip.
2.3. Remove the oil cooler hose clip from the lower fan shroud.
3. If equipped with the 8.1L engine perform the following:
3.1. Unsnap the oil cooler lines from the clip.
3.2. Remove the oil cooler hose clip from the lower fan shroud.
4. Lift the lower fan shroud up in order to disengage the fan shroud from the retaining clips on the radiator.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the lower fan shroud to the retaining clips on the radiator and firmly push down.
2. If equipped with the 8.1L engine perform the following:
2.1. Install the oil cooler hose clip to the lower fan shroud.
2.2. Snap the oil cooler lines into the clip.
3. If equipped with the 6.0L engine perform the following:
3.1. Install the oil cooler hose clip to the lower fan shroud.
3.2. Install the oil cooler hoses to the clip.
3.3. Close the oil cooler hose clip.
4. Install the cooling fan.
