Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair

Removing And Installing, Sealing/Replacing Exhaust Manifold

Remove exhaust system from manifold.





Remove both oxygen sensor connectors.





Remove heat shield fixings (1).
Heat shield to cylinder head bolt torque
M8 x 20 13 Nm





Remove heat shield fixings (1).

Remove heat shield (2).

Note: Harness routing.





Remove 8 exhaust manifold retaining bolts (1).

Remove exhaust manifold.

Install hint:
Check cylinder head and manifold faces are clean.

Fit new gasket.
Manifold bolt torque
M8 x 30 24 Nm
